Sophie Bosch-van Doorn
Hi!
My name is Sophie and I am the founder of Happy Around the Globe, a coaching & training company for anyone working or living in an international or intercultural environment.
I have 15 years of experience working at various corporates and a Master’s Degree in International Business. I am a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) and the NOBCO (The Dutch Coaching Council). Besides, I am a Certified Intercultural Trainer for Argonaut’s CultureConnector Assessment.
I am married and mother of two daughters.
International and intercultural expertise
I have extensive hands-on intercultural experience, since I have lived in 5 foreign countries myself.
My home country is The Netherlands, but I have also lived in Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, India and France.
The combination of my education and experience makes me well equipped to coach and train people from different cultures other than my own.
I always look at a person holistically. Most of the time there are other factors in a person’s life that also requires attention, besides the cultural challenges.
Coaching & training
My coaching & training style is positive and goal-oriented and therefore gives quick results.
Coaching & training is done in or around Amsterdam or online. My experience is that online coaching & training is just as successful as face-to-face.
I speak Dutch (mother tongue) & English (fluently).
